| Shalimar Yarns is the brain child of Kristi Johnson, a dyer who had an uncontrollable desire to squish exquisite fibers and play with color. Born out of a need to explore colors, textures and fibers through fine yarns, Shalimar Yarns was started in 2006. With the vivid and subtle hues of her Maryland farm acting as her muse, Kristi Johnson created a line of colors that speak to the soul of the fiber enthusiast.
Zoe Sock is a luxurious sock yarn, spun from 22 micron Australian Merino. The yarn has a delightful hand, fantastic "sproinginess" and amazing loft. It is one of the softest and most luxurious merino sock yarns on the market. Yarns are dyed in a varigated pattern or in Shalimar's signature Stonewash colors (semi-solids that have beautiful highlights, lowlights and depth of shade).
